Change is in our hands.

It sometimes feels like efforts to combat the climate and nature crises are going nowhere. Often, we feel that, as individuals, there’s very little we can do to make a tangible difference.

Women’s Fund for Nature is a new initiative inviting women to come together, pool their resources, and exert agency over where those resources go. We challenge the notion that real change is beyond our control and that philanthropy is only for the very wealthy.

Membership details will be available soon. For more information, or to express interest in joining please get in touch.

Why Women?

Did you know there are clear differences in how men and women engage with charities? Men and women both donate to charity of course, but research has shown that women spend more time finding the organisations that most closely reflect their priorities and values. We also know that women are more likely to want to engage with charities in ways which extend beyond their financial gifts.

Our unique membership model facilitates shared decision making, mutual learning, and relationship building. You become part of a community of like-minded women and have an active voice in where your money goes.

Why Youth?

Young people stand at the forefront of the climate emergency, living with their own futures and wellbeing at risk, yet demonstrating immense determination to drive change.

Typically, youth-led initiatives are treated as token contributions. This needs to change. Young people must be supported as leaders and decision makers, so that policies and responses created today are effective, sustainable, and accepted tomorrow.
