We are a community of women collaborating to fund youth-led responses to the climate and nature emergencies in the UK.
Change is in our hands.
It sometimes feels like efforts to combat the climate and nature crises are going nowhere. Often, we feel that, as individuals, there’s very little we can do to make a tangible difference.
Women’s Fund for Nature is a new initiative inviting women to come together, pool their resources, and exert agency over where those resources go. We challenge the notion that real change is beyond our control and that philanthropy is only for the very wealthy.
We will be launching the fund on Saturday, 24th October 2026. Join us! If you have any questions, please use the button below.

Why Women?
Did you know there are differences in how men and women engage with charities? Men and women both donate to charity, of course, but research has shown that women are more likely to want to engage with charities in ways which extend beyond their financial gifts. Women spend more time finding the organisations that most closely reflect their priorities, and value connecting with like-minded people, influencing funding decisions, and engaging directly with the organisations they support. Women’s Fund for Nature builds on these values, creating a community where women combine their contributions, experience and influence to support the next generation.
Our unique membership model facilitates shared decision making, mutual learning, and relationship building. You become part of a community of like-minded women and have an active voice in where your money goes.
Why Youth?
Young people stand at the forefront of the climate emergency, living with their own futures and wellbeing at risk, yet demonstrating immense determination to drive change.
Too often, young people's involvement in environmental decision-making is treated as symbolic rather than substantive. This needs to change. Young people must be supported as leaders and decision-makers, with the resources and authority to shape policies and climate responses.
